OR Registered Nurse | Paintsville, Kentucky in Auxier, KY

A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Operating Room experience, located within a 100-mile radius of Paintsville, KY. This role requires a skilled nursing professional to provide comprehensive perioperative care in a dynamic surgical environment.

Key responsibilities include supporting a variety of surgical cases such as general surgery, orthopedic procedures including total joint replacements and arthroscopy, endarterectomy with stents and patches, aneurysm treatment, vessel cleaning and clot stripping to restore vessel patency, laparoscopic surgery, gastrointestinal endoscopy, gynecological and ENT procedures. Additional duties involve assisting in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) during callback situations to ensure patient recovery and safety. This assignment offers 12-hour shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with a call schedule of one shift weekly and one weekend per month.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Active Registered Nurse license with Operating Room (OR) experience
• Minimum two years of relevant OR nursing experience, with previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Proficient in a broad range of surgical specialties and PACU support
• Ability to reside within 100 miles of the site for eligibility
• Reliable in submitting assignment confirmation within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Availability to begin assignment promptly; orientation is conducted bi-weekly
