Job Description
Key Expectations for Part-Time Employee:
Working Hours:
3 Days/Week = 24 hours
Shift Responsibilities:
Late Night Shifts – OR Specific
Call Rotation – OR Specific
Same expectation as Full Time Employees, if unable to work on assigned late or call, Part Time Employee will need to find coverage or switch
Days other than late and call will fluctuate according to case volume
Flexibility:
Part-time work offers flexibility
Need to have employee reliable and committed to assigned schedule
Other than late and call days, the schedule will be made a month in advance
Participation:
Part Time Employee will be expected to attend team meetings, training, in-services, etc.
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
To provide excellence in patient care that builds confidence, loyalty and trust with our patients, patients' families and the community. To understand and carry out Surgery Partners mission and vision statement by adhering to world class service standards. To strive to communicate and interact with others in a professional, responsible, cooperative and positive manner at all times. To act as a resource person to manage and utilize personnel in an effective and appropriate manner, and complete tasks assigned within the time frame.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
• Valid and current RN License in KS or Compact State License
• BLS required upon hire
• Minimum one year of OR Experience required
