A Registered Nurse with experience in the Operating Room is needed to support a dynamic surgical team in Peridot, AZ. This contract position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care across multiple surgical specialties, including orthopedic, general, eye, podiatry, gynecology, pain management, urology, neurosurgery, and hand surgery. The role requires proficiency and comfort with neurosurgical procedures, and familiarity with advanced technology such as the Da Vinci surgical robot is a plus. Schedule: • Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM • On-call approximately 10 days per month or fewer Key Responsibilities: • Serve as an OR circulator supporting various surgical specialties • Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and functioning • Collaborate closely with surgeons and the surgical team to anticipate needs during procedures • Maintain patient safety and adhere to all infection control protocols • Provide comprehensive patient care during pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current and valid RN license with OR experience • Demonstrated expertise in neurosurgery preferred • Comfortable working with the Da Vinci surgical robot • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment • Strong communication and teamwork skills Location Insight: Peridot, AZ, located within the scenic landscapes of the Southwest, offers a unique blend of cultural heritage and natural beauty.
