Job Description
A registered nurse with operating room experience is needed to support surgical services in a hospital setting located in Williamstown, MA. This contract assignment offers an opportunity to apply your clinical skills in a dynamic environment known for quality patient care. Shift schedules follow standard hours without block scheduling or accommodations, emphasizing flexibility and consistency in 10- or 12-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide perioperative nursing care during surgical procedures
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to sterile techniques
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of care provided
• Participate in orientation and comply with facility protocols and dress code
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
• Current RN licensure with operating room experience
• Ability to work flexible 10- or 12-hour shifts without schedule accommodations
• Must hold or be affiliated with an agency possessing the Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool)
• Residency outside a 50-mile radius of the hospital is required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Adherence to professional standards and facility policies
