An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in the Operating Room (OR) setting to support a healthcare team on a 13-week contract. This role is designed for professionals with strong perioperative skills who can perform both scrubbing and circulating duties efficiently. The position offers a structured 4x10-hour day schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, without weekend or on-call responsibilities, delivering a balanced workweek. Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and adhering to all procedural protocols. • Perform scrubbing and circulating roles during surgical procedures. • Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to support optimal patient outcomes. • Maintain sterility and compliance with infection control standards. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey at the time of application. • Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) credential preferred but not mandatory. • Compliance with flu vaccination requirements; medical exemptions can be supported with documentation. Work Schedule: • Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM). • No weekend or on-call duties. • Scrubs for work are provided.
