Summary:

This role involves preparing patients for visits, ensuring smooth patient flow, assisting providers with treatments, administering medications, and supporting clerical functions including scheduling and managing referrals.

Responsibilities:
• Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care during visits in the ambulatory care setting.
• Deliver direct patient care for telephone triage per clinic staffing models.
• Manage medication refill requests following approved nursing protocols.
• Ensure patient-centered care that is safe, efficient, and equitable.
• Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
• Associate's degree in nursing.
• Current State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
• BLS certification REQUIRED at the time of hire.
