Job Description:
As an Orthopedic Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our ambulatory clinic. Your duties will include:
• Utilizing the nursing process for direct patient care during nurse visits.
• Providing efficient and compassionate telephone triage services.
• Managing medication refills in collaboration with providers through established protocols.
• Ensuring a safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care experience.
Additional Job Description:
SKILLS:
Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
Academic Preparation: Degree from an accredited academic nursing program (minimum ADN with a BSN to be completed within five years of hire)
Specialty Certifications: Preferred certifications relevant to orthopedic nursing
Professional Requirements/Emergency Response: Current training in BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) is required; additional certifications may be required based on your specific area of service.
Experience: We welcome both new graduates and experienced nurses from accredited nursing programs to apply.
