
Orthopedic Surgery Registered Nurse in Cloudcroft, NM
Job Description
We are seeking a competent and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in our Specialty Orthopedic Surgery unit. This role requires independent practice and a comprehensive understanding of complex clinical situations. Key Responsibilities:
• Exceed expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provide nursing care in alignment with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice through assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families according to your level of expertise.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols; monitor and evaluate their effectiveness and side effects.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided meticulously.
• Assess patients' learning needs and provide education to patients and their families, identifying issues and available resources.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a related nursing specialty is preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications: Current BLS certification and RN License in state of employment or compact.
