Job Summary and Qualifications As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in alignment with department standards and practices. Collaborating closely with medical providers and the care team, you will provide thorough, compassionate care based on established nursing models like 'Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.' You will stand as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring a positive care experience. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough patient assessments during admission and each shift, swiftly identifying and reporting any changes. • Execute procedures and administer medications as directed, maintaining accurate documentation of care provided. • Respond proactively to patient needs and requests, ensuring an outstanding patient experience. • Educate patients and families regarding their medical conditions and care plans, using clear, understandable language. Qualifications Required: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within 5 years from hire date. RNs with 10 years or more experience are exempt from this requirement. • Current Registered Nurse license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply. • BLS Healthcare Provider certification. • Minimum of one year nursing experience. Preferred qualifications include a Master's in Nursing and national certification in their specialty area.
