• Pay: $33.61 - $52.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This role is essential for providing exceptional patient care in an outpatient infusion/apheresis setting, adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive patient care tailored toward infusion services to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Proactively monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions effectively. Collaborate across various disciplines to ensure coordinated care, including patient transfers, discharges, and addressing spiritual or psychosocial needs.
• Assess and address the learning needs of patients and their families, providing education that caters to their age, culture, and specific circumstances.
• Delegate patient care responsibly to ancillary personnel and offer guidance to new nurses or students during their onboarding process.
Successful candidates will demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited or state board of nursing-approved Registered/Professional Nursing program; a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Active state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Certification Requirement: ONS certification required within 6 months for new hires and within 1 year for new graduates.
• Minimum of 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required before the start date, with a card valid for at least 60 days after hire.
