Description • Department: Cancer Center Infusion • FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) • Shift: Days • Pay: $33.61 - $52.10 / hour, based on relevant experience Summary: Are you a compassionate nurse dedicated to providing exceptional patient care? As an Outpatient Infusion Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process alongside our values and mission to enhance patient care and outcomes. Responsibilities: • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care related to infusion services based on thorough assessments, optimizing outcomes, and maximizing resource utilization. • Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions accurately while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care, including transfers, discharge, and psychosocial support. • Assess the learning needs of patients and families, providing tailored education that respects age, culture, condition, and circumstances. • Delegate nursing tasks effectively to support staff and may precept student nurses and new hires. To succeed in this dynamic environment, you must demonstrate critical thinking skills, effective decision-making, and the ability to perform with minimal supervision. Requirements: • Must be a graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if you have less than 3 years of experience. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). • ONS certification is required within 6 months for new hires and 1 year for new graduates. • Minimum of 6 months nursing (RN) experience. • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required prior to the start date, with a card valid for at least sixty days after hire.
