
Outpatient Surgery Registered Nurse, Ambulatory Surgery Center (Full Time) in Sapphire Ridge, MT

Performs duties throughout the ASC in the capacities in which competency has been achieved (Admissions, OR, Pain procedures, PACU and discharge). Provides direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patient populations. Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assesses operating room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases, and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met.
Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefits Health System's organization policies and procedures.
Education/License/Experience Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Montana.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Current ACLS or scheduled to be completed within the first year of employment.
• Previous experience in the operating room.
