Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
• Provide direct patient care for nurse visits in an ambulatory care setting, following staffing models.
• Conduct telephone triage, ensuring efficient and patient-centered care.
• Manage medication refill requests as an agent of the provider, adhering to approved nursing protocols.
• Ensure safe, timely, and effective care for all patients.
Qualifications:
• Licensure: Current State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
• Academic Preparation: Degree from an accredited nursing program; Minimum ADN required with the expectation of obtaining a BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Specialty Certifications: Preferred in your area of practice.
• Professional Requirements: Current training in BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required for all. Additional requirements vary by service area (e.g., Chemotherapy certification for Oncology).
• Experience: New graduates or experienced nurses from accredited nursing programs welcome.
