PACU Nurse (RN) - North Sioux City, South Dakota in Sioux City, IA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current RN licensure with PACU experience
• Valid BLS certification required
• Experience in post-anesthesia recovery nursing

• Flexibility to float to different units as needed
• Prior travel nursing experience is beneficial

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care to surgical patients
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and timely charting of patient status
• Assist with patient transfer and preparation for discharge
• Participate in weekend shifts every other weekend and occasional float duties
