Job Description
A professional opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with PACU experience to support pre-surgical and pre-endoscopy patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position is ideal for nurses skilled in post-anesthesia care and patient monitoring, offering a structured schedule and an engaging clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care to pre-surgical and pre-endoscopy patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs, manage pain and other post-operative symptoms.
• Administer medications and support all required medical procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Document patient information accurately using Cerner charting software.
• Participate in call rotations with shifts typically from 0600 to 1430 or 0600 to 1630, including weekend on-call duties every other weekend.
• Adhere to infection control policies including flu and COVID vaccination requirements (with allowed exemptions).
Qualifications and Experience:
• Current, valid RN license with PACU experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience caring for pre-surgical patients and familiarity with multiple surgical procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2.
• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities.
Schedule and Work Type:
• Contract position.
• 40 hours per week.
• Shift options include 8 or 10-hour day shifts with some on-call responsibilities.
• No weekend or holiday shifts unless on call.
