Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU - Full Time
MLR is hiring a full-time, permanent Registered Nurse (RN) for a direct-hire opportunity in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a top healthcare facility located near Ramah, NM!
Key Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU:
• Deliver exceptional care to post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, with no on-call required.
• Monitor patient vitals, manage pain, and check for post-surgical complications.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by physicians.
• Provide education to patients and their families about post-op recovery and home care procedures.
• Keep accurate patient records, following hospital protocols and guidelines.
Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU Qualifications:
• Must have an active RN license in New Mexico.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• ACLS and CPR certifications are mandatory.
• PALS and NRP certifications are desirable.
• Prior experience in PACU, critical care, or a surgical setting is a plus.
