PACU Registered Nurse - Henrico, VA in Highland Springs, VA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience within a hospital setting
• Current and active Virginia nursing license required at time of application
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification mandatory
• Proven ability to provide compassionate, high-quality care in PACU or similar critical care environments

Responsibilities:
• Monitor patients post-operative recovery and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes
