Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) specializing in ambulatory surgery and endoscopy care. Responsibilities:
• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical and endoscopic procedures
• Manage vital signs and provide postoperative care tailored to individual patient needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and patient safety
• Administer medications and pain management interventions as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care and patient progress
• Prepare patients for discharge by providing education and support
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
• Active RN license with experience in PACU or post-anesthesia care
• Skilled in ambulatory surgery and endoscopy recovery protocols
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient education capabilities
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required
