An opportunity is available for an experienced RN-PACU to contribute to a dynamic healthcare team within a well-equipped medical setting. This contract position is based in Bloomfield, New Mexico, providing professional growth in a supportive environment.
Schedule/Hours:
• Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• One day off each week (day off varies)
• No on-call responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Providing preoperative and postoperative care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
• Monitoring patient conditions and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal recovery
• Managing pain control and patient comfort while adhering to clinical protocols
• Maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Active RN license with PACU certification or relevant experience
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in anesthesia recovery care
• Ability to collaborate effectively with surgical teams and healthcare professionals
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
