PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Nursing Jobs in Atlanta, GA

Key Job Details - PACU RN Travel Assignment
• Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 (Georgia healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing, On-Site
• Start Date: December 8, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Duration: 12-week contract
• Shift: 4x10-Hour Days (07:00 - 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend
• Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Unit: Clinical Support Unit (11 beds, daily census ~14)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1620 - $1660
PACU RN Qualifications
• Active Georgia or Compact Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU or acute care nursing experience (first-time travel nurses welcome)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Experience with Epic electronic charting system
• Clinical skills: arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, conscious sedation, dysrhythmia recognition, EVD, ICP monitoring, IV vasopressors, PCA pump management, Phase I & II PACU, procedural sedation, starting/maintaining IVs
• Ability to work required holidays during assignment
• Two supervisory references preferred (Manager or above)
PACU RN Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive pre- and post-anesthesia nursing care for patients recovering from radiology and interventional radiology procedures (ultrasound, CT)
• Monitor and manage patients with complex diagnoses: CKD, post-organ transplant, oncology, radiation, chronic hepatic/biliary disease
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor patient vitals and sedation levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: IV team, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy
• Float to other nursing units within scope of practice as needed
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic charting system
• Participate in orientation and complete required training modules
