Part-Time Cardio Procedural Registered Nurse in Placitas, NM

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse who will play a vital role in coordinating and delivering exceptional patient care in our Cardiac Function Testing department. You will ensure that our patients receive safe, high-quality care that aligns with our unit's standards and organizational goals. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: • Education: Graduate from an accredited Nursing program. • Certifications/Licenses: Current RN license in New Mexico or recognized Compact state. BLS Certification is required within 2 weeks of hire. All other necessary certifications must be acquired within 6 months of hire. Nurses maintaining current certifications must keep them up to date without a grace period. Skills: • Up-to-date knowledge and skills relevant to the patient population served. • A strong understanding of patients' rights and ethical considerations in care. • Effective communication skills tailored to the developmental stages of patients. Experience: This position is supervised by the Patient Care Director or Manager. Environment: • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens (OR, PACU, L&D). • Potential exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays. Our facilities offer a clean, well-lit, and ventilated smoke-free environment. The working hours may vary, requiring flexibility for unforeseen changes to the schedule and emergencies. Physical Requirements: Ability to handle emergency situations and endure prolonged standing or walking. Must be able to position, push, or transfer patients and equipment, requiring significant physical effort.
