Position: Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Location: Lord Chamberlain, Stratford, CT 06614 Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm Pay Range: $18.00-$21.75 per hour Why Join Us? Key Responsibilities: • Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene). • Support resident mobility through transferring, repositioning, ambulation, and the use of mobility aids. • Take and record vital signs, monitoring residents’ conditions for any changes. • Serve meals and assist residents with feeding, while monitoring intake and output as required. • Ensure a safe and sanitary environment by maintaining resident rooms and common areas. • Provide incontinence care while maintaining residents’ dignity and comfort. • Observe and report physical and emotional status of residents, offering companionship and support. • Communicate effectively with residents, families/POAs, and the care team regarding resident needs and status. • Adhere to all facility policies, including infection control and safety procedures. Qualifications: • Valid CNA certification for Connecticut is required. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, resident-centered attitude. • Physical stamina to assist in lifting, turning, and moving residents. • Previous experience in a long-term care environment is preferred but not mandatory. • Reliability and the ability to collaborate within a healthcare team, respecting resident dignity.
