Facility: GSS SD Desmet Ctr Location: 411 Calumet Ave N, De Smet, SD 57231, USA Shift: Night Job Schedule: Part Time Weekly Hours: 24.00 Salary Range: $19.00 - $25.50 This position is also eligible for a Sign-On Bonus! Role Overview As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide compassionate, resident-focused care and daily living assistance to our seniors under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include: • Delivering age-appropriate care according to individual care plans. • Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. • Documenting resident interactions and reporting any changes in condition to the charge nurse. • Facilitating transfers and mobility with safe techniques and equipment. • Helping with meal preparation and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. • Supporting wellness and recreation programs, encouraging resident participation. • Maintaining cleanliness in resident living areas, alongside light housekeeping tasks. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED preferred. • Minimum age of 16; prior experience in long-term care is a plus. • CNA certification required with the State Board of Nursing or certification within four months of employment. • Annual continuing education (minimum of 12 hours) required.
