Key Responsibilities: • Apply medical-surgical nursing standards to enhance patient care and well-being. • Build strong relationships with patients and families, advocating for their unique needs. • Implement and evaluate individualized care plans using the nursing process. • Assess patients holistically, considering all dimensions of their health. • Demonstrate leadership by collaborating with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care. • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote informed decision-making. • Educate patients and their families on health-promoting practices. • Mentor and support nursing colleagues, fostering a positive work environment. • Utilize evidence-based practices in your nursing care, considering age-specific needs. • Maintain a vigilant and safe working environment. • Perform point-of-care testing as needed, adhering to all protocols. • Take on additional duties as assigned to support our mission. Qualifications: • Graduate from an accredited nursing program. • No prior experience required. Physical Requirements: • Effective oral communication skills. • Constant standing and walking. • Frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. • Ability to use vision for near and far distances, and distinguish colors. • Occasional bending, stooping, and moving patients. Licenses and Certifications Required: • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association. • Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to your state of work.
