Position Summary: As a part-time Oncology Registered Nurse, you will coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care with precision and timeliness. We value your contributions and are committed to your professional development.
Position Requirements:
• Formal education from an accredited nursing program.
• Active nursing license in Tennessee.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Oncology nursing requires ONS chemo/immunotherapy certification within the first year of employment.
• Basic arrhythmia and ACLS certifications required within six months of hire for specific units.
Workplace Experience: Prior experience in Oncology Patient Care Delivery is essential.
Skills and Qualifications: Ability to work independently and effectively in a high-pressure environment, along with proficient use of standard patient care equipment. Skills in patient assessment, care planning, and compassionate communication will be crucial.
Physical Requirements: You must be capable of prolonged standing, lifting with assistance up to 250 lbs, and maintaining professional interactions in a busy and challenging healthcare setting.
