Part-Time Pediatric Psychiatric Registered Nurse in Boston, MA

Work Hours: 24 hours per week, 8-hour shifts with every other weekend rotation and holidays as assigned.

At CHA, our Child and Adolescent inpatient Neurodevelopment Unit specializes in caring for children and adolescents with severe mental health and neurodevelopmental challenges. We are dedicated to helping those who face complex emotional and behavioral difficulties. Our newly renovated, secure 6-bed unit at the CHA Somerville Campus features private rooms, communal areas, an outdoor space, an active sensory room, and quiet 'calming' zones designed for both individual and group activities.
Job Purpose: As an RN in our pediatric psychiatric setting, you'll provide essential care to our young patients while assessing their mental health and developmental needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Current Massachusetts RN license required.
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• BSN or ASN degree required.
• Preferred 1-2 years of acute inpatient psychiatric experience.
• New hires must successfully complete a job-specific physical test.
