Job Overview: The night shift RN will provide skilled nursing care for Med Surg patients, collaborating with physicians and team members as directed. Shifts are from 6 PM to 6:30 AM, with a commitment to working at least two weekend shifts per month and the associated shift differentials. Your Responsibilities Include: • Assessing and documenting patient status. • Implementing treatments and physician orders. • Assisting in patient positioning and transport. • Utilizing and demonstrating knowledge of relevant equipment, instruments, and procedures. • Maintaining accurate patient charts with treatment notes and alerts for care teams. • Administering medications, IV therapies, and drips as per orders. • Facilitating patient discharge to appropriate locations as directed by physicians. Qualifications: • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a valid nursing license in Illinois. • Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). • Med Surg/ICU experience is preferred but not mandatory. • Availability to work overnight shifts from 6 PM to 6:30 AM.
