As an integral part of our team, you will engage in patient consultations and procedures across our acute care facilities and outpatient clinics.
Role Overview: As a Registered Nurse, you will be crucial in planning and delivering patient care based on our established Nursing Standards. We seek dedicated individuals who can manage complex patient needs and thrive in a collaborative environment. You will report directly to the designated nurse manager and be part of a compassionate team dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
Bonuses: Experienced RNs committing to a minimum of two years with CHA may be eligible for a sign-on or retention bonus of $10,000, with part-time roles qualifying for a prorated bonus. Speak with an HR Advisor for more details.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient-centered assessments utilizing appropriate techniques for ambulatory care.
• Analyze and synthesize data to identify medical/nursing needs and implement tailored interventions.
• Apply evidence-based nursing interventions during clinical visits and communications.
• Deliver age-appropriate, empathetic, and culturally sensitive care.
• Collaborate on developing and executing interdisciplinary care plans with measurable outcomes.
• Ensure documentation meets all CHA, professional, and accreditation standards.
• Utilize approved protocols for telephone triage to expedite care effectively.
• Coordinate care delivery across various healthcare settings.
• Delegate tasks to support staff based on competency and established guidelines.
• Adhere to relevant policies and professional practice standards.
• Act as a contact point for coordinating care with multiple health entities.
• Promote health and wellness strategies for individuals and families.
• Support patients and caregivers in skills development for self-care and preventive measures.
• Contribute to data collection to monitor and improve organizational performance.
• Integrate findings from quality initiatives to enhance care practices.
• Foster collaborative relationships to maintain a supportive team environment.
• Incorporate best practices guided by research to inform clinical decisions.
• Oversee non-professional nursing staff and ensure effective patient care flow.
• Administer medications in accordance with hospital policies.
• Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school, with BSN preferred.
• Licensure: Active MA RN Licensure required.
• Certifications: Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Experience: Prior experience in an ambulatory setting is required; infusion room experience is necessary; chemotherapy certification is preferred.
• Linguistic Skills: Ability to speak a second language is a plus.
