Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) in Valley, NE

Description: Join our team as a Part-Time Registered Nurse (24 hours per week)! We are looking for dedicated nursing professionals to work at our SW Center, conveniently located near 138th & Q Street. Our operating hours are from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and we require flexibility to cover open and closing shifts. Why choose us? Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive nursing care, taking into account age and developmental requirements. • Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to support patient care plans and adapt treatments as required. • Deliver protocols-based treatment and maintain accurate paper documentation. • Conduct thorough and ongoing assessments focusing on patients' physical, psychological, and cultural needs. • Educate and instruct patients, their families, and colleagues as necessary. • Counsel patients and families to meet nursing and healthcare needs. • Document all care provided in compliance with CRCC policies. • Notify physicians and guardians of any significant changes in patient health. • Plan and organize work effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet established time frames. • Delegate tasks to other staff members professional according to their qualifications. • Accept only assignments matching your qualifications. • Understand and uphold patient rights and responsibilities. • Communicate regularly with the Director of Nursing regarding any issues or needs. • Assist in maintaining a safe environment, reporting any accidents or potential hazards quickly. Benefits: • Part-time employees (working 15-29 hours weekly) can accrue paid time off, receiving one hour for every 30 hours worked, up to a cap of 56 hours. • The holiday policy for part-time staff working 15 to 35 hours a week includes paid average daily hours for up to 4 hours. • Employees working 30 or more hours per week become eligible for health, dental, and vision benefits. Qualifications: • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. • Licensing: Active Registered Nurse license in Nebraska. • Experience: Preferred 1 year of current pediatric experience. • Current CPR certification required. • Complied with HIPAA regulations and maintains confidentiality of patient information. • Adherence to Infection Control and OSHA standards is essential. • Ability to wear personal protective equipment as necessary. • Work effectively both independently and collaboratively with team members. • Organize and complete work efficiently. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Meet agency requirements for health status and clearances from the Nebraska Child and Adult Abuse/Neglect Registries. • Able to lift up to fifty pounds.
