Position Overview: The night shift RN will deliver skilled nursing care to Med Surg patients, collaborating with physicians and team members as required. The shift runs from 6pm to 6:30am, with a requirement of working at least 2 weekend shifts per month. Key Responsibilities: • Assess and document patient status. • Implement treatments and follow medical orders. • Assist in patient positioning and transportation. • Maintain knowledge of relevant equipment and procedures. • Document treatments, notes, and significant patient information. • Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed. • Facilitate patient discharge as per physician direction. • Applicants must be graduates of an accredited nursing program with a valid nursing license in Illinois. • A current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain) is required. • Experience in Med Surg/ICU is a plus but not mandatory. • Must be available to work night shifts from 6pm to 6:30am.
