We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our elite remote triage team. In this essential role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, delivering high-quality assessments, guidance, and care coordination through telephone and digital platforms.
This position requires a confident, independent nurse with a strong clinical background, exceptional judgment, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. You will work in a supportive remote environment, striving to improve patient outcomes and experiences across diverse primary and specialty care settings.
Work Schedule:
• Saturday/Sunday - 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM CST
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle inbound patient calls and initiate outbound calls to ensure optimal patient care.
• Conduct clinical assessments using established protocols, effectively triaging patients.
• Manage patient communications through the patient portal, creating necessary orders, and directing them to the appropriate parties.
• Provide administrative assistance regarding patient and provider needs related to FMLA, ADA, and LTD/STD.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers as needed.
• Execute other responsibilities that align with our values and fulfill our mission.
Required Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse with active and unencumbered e-NCL Licensure.
• California RN Licensure is mandatory.
• Solid clinical proficiency in nursing practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to follow approved procedures and clinical guidelines.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records like EPIC, Cerner, or Greenway.
• Proficient in using Windows-based software, including Adobe, MS Word, MS Excel, and faxing tools.
• A minimum of 5 years in direct patient care settings, with preference for Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, or Critical Care experience; Women’s Health or Labor and Delivery experience is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in Adult Nursing is required.
Work Environment:
• Remote work in a private HIPAA-compliant workspace.
• Possess necessary company equipment to perform job duties.
• Maintain stable broadband Internet access (min. 24 mbps download and 4 mbps upload speed).
Compensation and Benefits:
The target salary range for this position is $25 to $30 per hour, based on various factors including skills, experience, and other relevant considerations.
