Our Patient Care Novices work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist in providing high quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity to learn hands-on care and gain experience recognizing signs and symptoms and how to respond. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Emergency Room
• Under the direction and supervision of the RN, perform patient care activities, as needed, of the patient population(s) served in the unit/department.
• Contribute to patient care in a safe environment, as well as maintaining equipment, supplies, and stock in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicate effectively data and significant patient information to the attention of the RN.
• Document data collected during the provision of patient care in a timely manner.
• Under the direction and supervision of the RN, perform patient care activities, as needed, of the patient population(s) served in the unit/department.

Qualifications
• Required Enrolled in program Must be enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing program fully accredited by either the CCNE (Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education) or NLNAC (National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission).
• Must have successfully completed one full rotation (semester, quarter, etc.) of nursing clinicals through a fully accredited school of nursing. Must be in good standing in their program.
Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
