PCU/Stepdown Nurse (RN) | Columbia, Mississippi in Columbia, MS

This contract role focuses on caring for patients recovering from post-op CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft) surgery, requiring recent hands-on experience.

Location: Columbia, MS

Qualifications / Desired Experience:
• Current RN licensure
• At least 2 years of recent experience in post-op CABG recovery (must be clearly documented on resume)
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required
• Permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to step-down patients after cardiac surgery
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes proactively
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Adhere to established protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort

Schedule / Hours:
• Days, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Additional Details:
• Contract position lasting approximately 13 weeks
