Job Description
This role requires Registered Nurses with expertise in step-down care, prepared to deliver compassionate, independent patient management within a structured team environment. The position supports a 20-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:2, emphasizing critical thinking, time management, and emotional stability in emergency and high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for patients in a step-down unit, maintaining high standards in patient assessment, treatment, and safety
• Utilize problem-solving and delegation to optimize patient outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams adhering to hospital policies
• Maintain documentation and compliance with regulatory standards

Additional Details:
• Contract position supporting a mission-driven community hospital
• Must comply with Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License requirements
• Personal scrubs of any color allowed
• Orientation included (8 hours, non-billable)
• Requests for time off must be submitted and verified with application
• Holiday and overtime pay applied as per terms
• Candidate profiles must include specific interview availability; anytime is not acceptable
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the hospital are not eligible
