PCU/Stepdown Nurse (RN) | Hattiesburg, Mississippi in Arnold Line, MS

Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized nursing care for patients recovering from post-operative coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery.
• Monitor patient conditions closely and respond promptly to changes in health status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure adherence to established protocols and standards in stepdown unit settings.
• Educate patients and families on recovery processes and health maintenance.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
• Current RN license with experience in stepdown nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience specifically in post-op CABG recovery documented on resume.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility’s location.

Schedule:
• Day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
