A healthcare facility in Lake Placid, FL, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown nursing to provide high-quality patient care on a 12-hour night shift. Key Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a PCU/Stepdown setting, ensuring close monitoring and timely interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical observations.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
• Adhere strictly to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to promote a safe care environment.
• Float to sister campuses as needed, maintaining adaptability to meet varying patient care demands.

Qualifications And Experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license; Compact license accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in PCU or Stepdown nursing.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM) with every other weekend scheduled.
• Work history with no gap exceeding 90 days.
• Comfortable wearing navy blue scrub colors as per policy.

Schedule
• 12-hour night shifts (7p - 7a)
• Every other weekend required
• Approximately 36 hours per week
