PCU/Stepdown Nurse (RN) | Leonardtown, Maryland in Leonardtown, MD

Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in PCU/IMC/Stepdown units, maintaining high standards of practice • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately, ensuring rapid response to critical changes • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans • Float to Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units as needed, adapting to varied patient care demands • Commit to a night shift schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts (1845 to 0715), including every other weekend with no on-call duties Qualifications & Experience: • Current RN licensure with at least 2 years of experience in PCU, IMC, or Stepdown nursing environments • Successful completion of ACLS and BLS certification • Passed EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam (minimum 80% overall score with 100% on lethal rhythms) • Flexibility to float between units with patient ratios typically at 1:5 or 1:6 Additional Details: • This is a contract role suitable for those open to local placements or travel contracts • The position welcomes first-time travel nurses and locals within a 60-mile radius at adjusted rates Take advantage of this opportunity to enhance your nursing career in a supportive setting that values expertise and dedication.
