A registered nurse with experience in stepdown care is needed for a night shift role located in Oak Ridge, TN. Qualifications & Desired Experience • Current RN licensure required • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, including completion of all ACLS modules • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting • Proven ability to provide total patient care efficiently and compassionately Responsibilities • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a stepdown unit with a ratio between 1:4 and 1:6 • Utilize Cerner EMR system effectively for patient documentation and care coordination • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes • Adhere to established protocols and best practices for stepdown patient care Schedule • Nights: 7 PM to 7 AM • Every other weekend required • Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly • No block scheduling, with limited floating (no 48-hour float requirement) This contract opportunity is ideal for RNs who are detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to step into a critical care role in an established healthcare setting.
