Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse in Four Square Mile, CO

Anschutz Medical Campus | Colorado
Assignment: 13 weeks
Dates: 01/27/2026 – 05/02/2026
Shift Options:
12-hour rotating days & nights or
12-hour nights only (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
No straight day shifts available
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On Call: None
Floating: As needed to inpatient units (no ED, OR, or inpatient Psych)
Requirements
Active Colorado RN license
BSN preferred (strong staff experience considered in lieu of travel experience)
Experience:
2+ years as a staff RN in a comparable PICU
3+ years required if no prior travel experience
Experience caring for patients birth–21 years, including:
Ventilated patients (NC, BiPAP/CPAP, Trilogy, Dräger)
Chronic childhood diseases
Sepsis, TBI, DKA, seizure disorders
Oncology, metabolic disorders, NAT
Surgical patients (neuro, ENT, ortho, general surgery)
Equipment Experience
Trilogy & Dräger ventilators
Codman ICP monitors
Medfusion syringe pumps
Baxter large-volume IV pumps
Certifications
Required: BLS, PALS
Preferred: ACLS
Additional Info
Prefer 2+ years staff experience; 1 year travel experience in a teaching PICU is a plus
No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment
Medical or religious flu vaccine exemptions allowed (form required with submission)
Floating may occur within 35 miles of the assigned facility to meet guaranteed hours
