🕘 Schedule: Days | 3 x 11.5-hour shifts
🕰 Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (60-minute unpaid lunch)
📊 Hours: 35 hours/week
Role Summary
The Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse provides high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients. The RN will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary care team to deliver safe, compassionate, and effective patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Compensation
• Travel Pay: $3,019.91 weekly gross
• Local Pay: $73/hour
Unit Overview
• Unit Type: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) – Trauma Training Unit
• Unit Size: 11-bed PICU with telemetry capability
• Additional Capacity: Surge beds staffed with ICU-trained nurses
• Floating: Required (may include Pediatric Emergency Department)
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio
• 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 based on patient acuity

Requirements
• Active New York State RN License
• Minimum 3 years of PICU experience preferred
• Certifications Required:
• BLS
• PALS
• PCAR
• Education: BSN preferred
• Certifications Preferred: CCRN
• Previous travel experience: Not required
