Responsibilities: • Provide skilled nursing care in an operating room setting with pediatric patients • Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams during neuro, orthopedic, ENT, general, and eye surgeries • Maintain compliance with hospital policies including infection control and safety protocols • Participate in call rotations with a minimum commitment as specified • Utilize clinical expertise to ensure positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced surgical unit Qualifications & Desired Experience: • Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience in the Operating Room • Pediatric nursing experience preferred • Experience in neuro, ortho, ENT, general surgery, and ophthalmic procedures required • Current certifications in BLS, PALS, PEARS, CNR-EMR, and EPIC proficiency to be demonstrated • Ability to provide 2 recent Operating Room Supervisor/Manager references • Flu vaccination required with no exemptions accepted • Must be nicotine-free; drug screening and nicotine testing required Schedule: • Variable day shifts including 12-hour, 8-hour, and 10-hour shifts • Call rotation includes at least two 4-hour, two 8-hour, and two 12-hour shifts per six weeks This contract role is ideal for a skilled pediatric OR nurse committed to delivering exceptional care in a specialized hospital setting.
