Job Description
Providing specialized care in a dynamic pediatric critical care environment requires skill, dedication, and flexibility. This opportunity calls for an experienced Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse prepared to work within a float pool across multiple specialized pediatric units. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality nursing care across Pediatric Cardiovascular PICU, Neonatal ICU, and Pediatric ICU units
• Manage patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3, maintaining safety and effective care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive critical care
• Float within scope to areas of greatest need, adapting to varying patient acuity
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations to ensure continuous unit coverage
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years in Pediatric ICU nursing or equivalent critical care experience
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• Certification in BLS and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Experience with ECMO and Certified Registered Rehab Therapy Nurse (CRRT) is preferred, but not required
• Ability to work a 3x12 hour day shift schedule (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM), with flexibility for block scheduling upon approval

Situated in Goose Creek, South Carolina, this role offers the chance to work near one of the states rapidly growing communities. Goose Creek provides a blend of suburban comfort and access to nearby metropolitan amenities, with easy travel to cultural, recreational, and outdoor activities popular in the Lowcountry region.
Additional Details:
• Contract position with an anticipated 36 hours per week
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend, including holiday rotations
• Facility may call off one shift every two weeks
• During hurricane season (June to November), employees may be assigned to emergency response teams; plan accordingly
• Candidates within a 60-mile radius are considered; local applicants may have different compensation considerations
