Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity seeks a Registered Nurse with Pediatrics (RN-PEDS) expertise to provide dedicated patient care in a hospital setting. This role requires a professional with a solid foundation in pediatric nursing, as well as experience in adult medical-surgical care, to support a dynamic healthcare team.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current Massachusetts Permanent Nursing License
• Minimum of 3 years of pediatric nursing experience
• Proficient in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Valid COVID-19 and influenza vaccination documentation
• Experience in adult medical-surgical nursing
• Ability to manage patient loads with a typical ratio of 1 nurse to 3 patients on an 8-bed unit

Responsibilities:
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess and monitor patient conditions
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
• Participate in orientation sessions to acclimate to facility protocols and standards
