At Shriners Children's St. Louis, we have a team of physicians and specialists who are highly trained and experienced in pediatric orthopedics. This team is equipped to treat children with a variety of different orthopedic conditions ranging from mild to complex. Other specialties you will find at our facility include limb lengthening and reconstruction, spine care, muscular and neuromuscular care, orthotics and prosthetics and plastic surgery.

Shriners Children's St. Louis has an opportunity for a full-time Pediatric Registered Nurse in our PACU department. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives. Hours: Our PACU team enjoys a quality work-life balance through a 4/10 day shift schedule.
Responsibilities
• The PACU Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the recovery room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe after surgery.
• The RN provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications
Required:
• BSN degree or in process
• Missouri RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or obtained within one year of hire
Preferred:
• 2 years experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit or ICU preferred
• Pediatric experience
