Pediatrics Office Nurse (RN/LPN)The Pediatrics Office Nurse (RN or LPN) provides comprehensive nursing care to a designated panel of pediatric patients, functioning with a high level of independence while adhering to nursing standards, provider direction, and organizational policies. This nurse applies the full Nursing Process to deliver safe, family-centered care and plays a key role in supporting and guiding the clinical support team, including LPNs and Medical Assistants, in carrying out delegated aspects of the care plan.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver age-appropriate, hands-on patient care by assessing needs, formulating nursing plans, carrying out interventions, and evaluating outcomes.Partner closely with providers, fellow nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to design and implement individualized care plans for pediatric patients.Document assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses thoroughly and accurately in the medical record, escalating changes in status promptly.Safely administer medications and treatments as ordered, in line with practice and hospital policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and preventive care to support long-term health.Serve as an advocate for pediatric patients and their families, offering emotional support and ensuring care is delivered with respect and compassion.Follow all facility policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements to promote a safe, compliant clinical environment.Engage in ongoing professional development to keep current with pediatric nursing best practices and evolving standards of care.Perform additional related duties as assigned to support smooth clinic operations.BenefitsMedical insurance (multiple plan options)Flexible Spending Accounts (various account options)Dental insurance (multiple plan options)Vision insuranceEmployer-paid life insurance (2x annual salary)Voluntary employee life insurance (up to 3x annual salary)Voluntary spouse life insurance (up to $100,000)Voluntary child life insurance (up to $10,000)Short-term disability coverageEmployer-paid long-term disabilityAccident insurance and critical illness coverageIdentity theft protection403(b) retirement planTuition reimbursement up to $4,000 per fiscal year for full-time staffCandidate Profile & RequirementsAbility to maintain strict confidentiality of patient and organizational information.Solid understanding of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and basic equipment used in an ambulatory or office setting.Prior nursing experience required; new graduate nurses are not being considered for this position at this time.Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing.Certifications and LicensureCurrent BLS certification through the American Heart Association.Active New Hampshire or multistate Compact nursing license required
