Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse in Bristol, CT

Company Description: Cheshire House is a 75-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are excited to welcome a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to our team!

Responsibilities:
• Chart nurses' notes in a clear and detailed manner that reflects the care provided to residents and their responses.
• Complete and file necessary recordkeeping forms and charts upon resident admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Collaborate with assigned certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to ensure they understand and follow resident care plans.

Pay Rate: Competitive based on experience.

Requirements:
• Must possess an accredited Nursing Degree from a recognized institution and have graduated from a Connecticut approved RN/LPN program.
• Must hold a current certification as a Nursing Aide.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
• Must be physically capable of pushing, pulling, moving, and/or lifting a minimum of 40 pounds to a height of at least 3 feet and moving such weight a minimum distance of 4 feet.
