Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Company Description: Cheshire House is a 75-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in Waterbury, Connecticut, specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are eagerly looking for dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our compassionate team!
Responsibilities:
• Document nurses' notes clearly and thoroughly, reflecting the care provided and the resident's response.
• Complete and maintain accurate records for residents during admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications with precision and care.
• Collaborate with certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to ensure they are knowledgeable about each resident's care plan, and promote adherence to these plans during daily care.
Pay Rate:
Competitive pay structure with shift differentials.

Requirements:
• A Nursing Degree from an accredited institution and graduation from a Connecticut-approved RN/LPN program.
• Current certification as a Nurses Aide.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively, both written and verbal.
• Physical capabilities to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 40 pounds to a height of 3 feet and carry such weight over a distance of 4 feet.
