
Per Diem Registered Nurse - Medical Oncology Cancer Center in White Rock, NM
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology Cancer Center team on a per diem basis. In this role, you will coordinate and deliver exceptional patient care tailored to the specific age groups we serve. Your expertise will ensure that we provide high-quality care in a safe and efficient manner, reflecting our core values and standards.

Requirements
EDUCATION: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: A current RN license is required. BLS certification must be obtained within 2 weeks of hire; other certifications are to be secured within 6 months. Please note, no grace period for certification renewal is provided.
SKILLS: A strong knowledge of current nursing practices and the ability to adapt to various patient age groups will be essential. You must be sensitive to patients' rights and able to communicate in an age-appropriate manner.
EXPERIENCE: Relevant clinical experience preferred.
NATURE OF SUPERVISION:
- Responsible to: Patient Care Director or Manager
ENVIRONMENT:
You may encounter bloodborne pathogens and exposure to infectious diseases, requiring a strong commitment to safety and hygiene. The work environment is clean, well-ventilated, and free from smoke. Flexibility in your schedule is necessary due to potential changes and emergency situations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must be capable of handling various emergency situations while demonstrating strength and physical endurance. This role involves standing, walking, and the ability to position and transport patients or equipment. Good manual dexterity, visual acuity, and hearing within normal range are necessary.
