PERM - RN Med/Psych | Salary: $83K–$108K in Springfield, IL

RN – Med/Psych | Full-Time Permanent 📍 Location: Chicago, IL 🕒 Schedule • 12-hour shifts • Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM • Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM • Flexible scheduling as needed Compensation • Salary: $83,000 – $108,000 annually • Hourly Equivalent: ~$40/hr – $52/hr (based on experience) Experience Required • 2–15 years total RN experience • 2–3 years of combined Med-Surg & Psychiatric experience (Required) Must-Have Qualifications • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) – Required • BSN or currently enrolled in a BSN program – Preferred • Active Illinois RN License • BLS & ACLS – Required • Strong knowledge of psychotropic medications and interactions • Ability to work varied hours • Ability to lift and assist patients as needed Role Overview The RN – Med/Psych provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with both medical and psychiatric needs. This role requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and a compassionate approach to patient-centered care.
