Pharmacy Manager- $12,058–$13,258 / month

Provides compassionate pharmacy consultation to patients concerning medication use and awareness of drug interactions. Delivers preventive and healthcare services, such as vaccinations, diagnostic tests, and patient outcome support.
Ensures accurate compounding, reviewing, dispensing, and verification of prescribed medications per compliance guidelines and company protocols.

Enhances pharmacy workflow while focusing on financial outcomes, efficient inventory management, and elevating the patient experience. Oversees pharmacy team performance and involvement, promoting staff growth through training, coaching, and performance management.

Key Duties:
Patient Experience
• Greets patients, offering help with products and services, ensuring a positive service experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with the team, fostering engaging interactions and inclusivity.
• Anticipates patient needs, proactively offering services like consultations and medication management.
• Involves in events that resonate with the local community as guided by management.

Operations
• Advises patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and cost-effective alternatives.
• Conducts pharmacist tasks such as compounding, drug reviews, and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy compliance with regulations and oversees workflow and staff roles.
• Maintains Good Faith Dispensing policy compliance when processing prescriptions.
• Develops new strategic business opportunities in collaboration with store management.
• Supports technology systems for pharmacy operations, seeking productivity improvements.
• Assures accurate processing of insurance claims and resolves issues with insurers and providers.
• Conducts clinical services, including vaccinations and diagnostic testing.
• Collaborates with centralized support for patient registration and problem resolution.
• Manages the pharmacy department's upkeep, ensuring a functional and presentable environment.
• Prepares and submits necessary records and documentation as required by law.

People & Performance Management
• Supports management in hiring and discipline while ensuring legal compliance.
• Aligns team goals with management, improves staff performance and recognizes achievements.
• Identifies potential within team members and manages career growth collaboratively.
• Addresses employee relations, fostering morale by resolving complaints and ensuring a positive work environment.

Training & Personal Development
• Maintains necessary licensing and certifications as required by law.
• Keeps current with pharmacy and retail best practices through continuous learning.
• Completes required training and seeks professional development through feedback and mentorship.

Communications
• Aids management by disseminating corporate health and wellness strategies to the team.

Business Performance Management
• Analyzes financial and service performance data, protecting assets and overseeing inventory.
• Identifies trends and opportunities for improving pharmacy performance.

Business Planning
• Cultivates relationships with the local medical community and promotes the pharmacy business.
• Supports management in enhancing community awareness of health and wellness.

Essential Qualifications
• Bachelor's in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or ability to become one within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1-year pharmacy experience with competencies in prescription filling, legal compliance, and insurance billing (additional state-specific experience may apply).
• Familiarity with state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Must demonstrate strong leadership skills with favorable past performance reviews.

Compensation Information

To ensure pay transparency and equity, the salary for the Pharmacy Manager role ranges from $5,565 to $6,119 Bi-Weekly. (Monthly: $12,058–$13,258)
